Solvent based, wet glaze base used to define and enhance interior wood furniture and cabinets.
It is designed to be used with PUR and acrylic Topcoats and Sealers to produce unique finishing effects and grain enhancement.
Application may be by hand or spray.
Reducible with white spirit.
Never apply the glaze to bare wood. This product has been specifically formulated to be applied over a properly sealed surface.
Recommended seal coats include pigmented and clear 2K sealers. Catalyzed systems should be dried a minimum of 24 hours prior to glaze application.
Seal coats must be thoroughly dried and sanded with a minimum of 220 grit sandpaper prior to glaze application.
It is recommended to stir well the product before use.
Apply the product by spraying or with a rag.
Allow two to three minutes air-drying before wiping.
Wet glaze should be dried for a minimum of 4 hours at room temperature prior to top coating. Longer dry times may be necessary if drying conditions are less than ideal.
After wiping, brush blending, highlighting and complete drying, it can be overcoated by a suitable system.
It is critical that any excess glaze is removed from the work surface prior to the application of the topcoat or poor adhesion will result.
Keep it tightly sealed in its original container in a cool environment (between 4°C and 40°C) that is not subject to abrupt temperature excursions.
Standard packaging size of 25 Kg; for other requests a feasibility evaluation will be made.
